In the wood font

In the wood font named after the area where I live—Colliers wood, see what I did there?

I created in the wood with a pen and ink on paper. I was just messing around, experimenting with different pens. I knew I wanted a handmade look and feel but that was about it. I just kept on drawing.

I was surprised by the end result. It looks kind of scary, a bit dark and twisted (nothing like me). Like something you might see in the intro sequence to a horror movie or a Clive Barker book cover.

In the wood also has a bit of a hipster aesthetic, even though it looks old it looks kind of urban at the same time.
